DAY 13 (A DAY IN FORT COLLINS)

Today was a super-fun-filled-day that we spent in Fort Collins, where Avery's cousin Hanna, Aunt Chelsea, and her fiance' Jonathan (Sweeny) lives. (Well, Avery calls him Ryan for some reason. But one thing is for sure. She is sweet on Sweeny. She tagged along everywhere he went!) We started off in the Hotel where we went swimming again. The girls had a great time splashing around. It was quite a rainy day, so we planned to stay mostly indoors. We visited one of my favorite places to eat: Rasta Pasta, where we jammed out to some Marley tunes as we ate. (A special thanks to Jonathan for being a "Ryan" today as well as carrying Avery in the rain!) Later we went to Chelsea's house to exchange kids clothes while Avery napped. We were also witness to one of Cousin Hanna's milestones. As a symbol of another step into the big-girl club, Hanna gave Avery all of her sippie cups! Oh, but our adventure doesn't end there. We got in the car again and went to "Jump'n" - a place where kiddos can jump in jump houses, slide, and play with other kids. It was a bit crowded because it was so rainy on a Saturday. But we all survived with no injuries or without shedding a tear when we left. Just a short walk away, we found ourselves at an Italian Gelatto shop where we tried out tons of yummy flavors. (We skipped the award winning maple bacon flavor. But Chelsea said she would try it next time!) On the walk back to the car, we all tossed a coin in a fountain to ensure a wish to come true in some fashion. (I won't tell mine, or it won't come true!) We had one more ounce of fun on some cool animal statues before finally heading home to Colorado Springs. We are finally home after a long trip. We made some great memories with family and friends. Thank you all for helping to make this trip complete!
