DAY 15 (DADDY TIME)

For the first time in about 10 days, I had some time away from Avery. Dad took her for a few hours for a couple of mini-adventures. First, they went to the bank and deposited coins from her pig into the BIG BANK. Avery really likes to help dump the coins in the coin counter. Then, she and Dad went to Lil' Biggs (an kiddie amusement place kind of like Chuck E Cheese). I was told that she loved bouncing in the bounce house and playing in the sand box. Daddy got to witness a mini-break-down after trying to convince Avery to get off of the merry-go-round. (If I remember right, the ride is the most expensive there at a cost of $50!!!) Poor Dad. He bribed her with a sucker, but when they went to cash their tickets, they were out of suckers. So he stopped by a convenient store so as not to break his promise. During my time alone, I went to the library, checked on a friend's cat (who by the way really saved the day by leaving a bouquet of suckers for Avery as a gift! Thanks Sarah and Ken!!!), and went through the daunting task of organizing Avery's clothes.

But the true adventure didn't begin until 7 o'clock, when we all three went to cousin Zach's house to celebrate his birthday!
Avery had a great time playing with balloons, eating cake, and meeting their new puppy, Justice! On the way home, we saw the remainder of the sunset. Ever since seeing a true beautiful sunset at grandma's house, she asks to see one every day. She says they are "So Pretty." It was a special way to end a special day!

P.S. I visited http://www.inflatablefamily.com/ (not families, plural) I was hoping to find a blow-up Daddy, and blow-up Mommy, and a blow-up baby. But instead I just found a website entitled: Inflatable Family Entertainment. Though they didn't rent out stand-in family members, they did offer some reasonable prices on jump houses!
