"She smells like a monkey and she acts like one too!"
-our day at the zoo-
My little monkey and I went to the zoo today with a good friend and her kiddos, Regean and Brecken. We saw some cool animals, like a zebra and a giraffe, that we got to feed. Avery always talks about feeding the giraffe crackers, so we made sure to buy some this time. Check out the video! The first time she fed him, she thought it was pretty cool and was giggling. The second time, she was being a bit shy. The video is our second attempt at feeding the giraffe.
We also stopped to see a peacock. He was so hansome and proud. It seemed as though he stopped just for us to gaze at him. Later, we went to see a swimming bear and made a pit stop at the top of the zoo where we could see all of Colorado Springs.
Avery took her very first carousel ride today too! We chose a horse named "Hal," but we renamed him "Bandit." Avery had such a wonderful time with her friends and the animals too! Today's adventure is brought to you by the letter "Z."
