DAY 14 (BACK HOME IN DADDY'S ARMS)

Today's adventure involved running some errands with Dad. We haven't seen him in quite some time due to our trip to Evanston. So today we included Daddy in our adventures. Our first adventure consisted of going out for a late lunch at Golden Corral (thanks, Beth!) where Avery enjoyed yet another yummy cupcake! Next, we went shopping for groceries and a birthday present for cousin Zach. He is three years old today. We also purchased a pillow for Avery's big girl bed. We hunted for a pillow case to fit, to no avail. We gave up easily, because I decided that I could make one with the extra valance that came with her crib/room decor. So, when we got home, I pulled out the old sewing machine and whipped one right up! Daddy also bought Avery a new piggie bank. (One that holds a lot more money - hee hee).

So she and Dad spent some lap time putting coins into its back. Later, She and Dad tried out that new pillow as they read a book together before bed. Our day may be considered a bore for some, but for us, it was a perfect day-after-vacation-day, spent with our favorite person.

(We did see a "funny" today if you are interested: We were driving behind a truck with an advertising sticker on it that said "inflatable families.com") Any clue as to what they sell? Answer: tune in next time, or see for yourself!
