DAY 43 (YARD TILLING AND CHESTON'S BDAY)

Today was yet another day of yard work.  Its been scorching hot here, so although I am gung-ho to get things done, the heat kills my motivation after 5 minutes of working.  Its a good thing Scott is a work-o-holic and can beat the searing rays of the sun.  So as Scott readied the yard for tilling, Avery and I set up the sprinkler on the other side of the yard.  Its not a great picture, but Avery is wearing the cute boy shorts her dad got her.  They have monkeys on the front and are so cute!

She is also sporting the DC shoes from Uncle Ben.  We figured a yard work day was an okay day to dress like a boy!  Hee Hee.

Avery also joined us on our trip to the CC Sand and Stone, where she got to see a tractor put cow poop and dirt in Daddy's truck!

Near the end of the day, Daddy had to go and help with a window job.  So Julia, Avery, and I drove to Pueblo to celebrate Cheston's Birthday.  But before heading off, Julia noticed a dead bat in Scott's grill.  Here is a super cool picture in case you are interested.

If dead bats don't interest you, then perhaps a picture of a family jumping on a trampoline will suffice?  Just in case you were wondering, that is Avery's Uncle Jon, cousins Anna, Sam, and Elizabeth, and Aunt Julie.
