Our doggie Chuckles has been hacking up a lung lately, so Avery and I took him to the vet today. She brought along her toy stethoscope and was fascinated by everything the doctor was doing to Chuck. Chuck, on the other hand was a little less amused.
We later went to the grocery store where Avery got to ride a horse for only a penny. Its about the best bargain around!
This girl ran over and hopped on the horse before I could get Avery out of the cart. She had a handful of pennies and rode 3 or 4 times before letting Avery have a turn. Avery was patiently waiting like a good little girl, while my patience boiled.
Scott and his brother, Cheston, continue to battle the heat as they dig up dirt for laying a sprinkler system in our yard. Avery and I took a break from taking pictures of the yard today, so this is about it for today. Like I said, it it roasting outside. Tomorrow, we will go to the water park to cool off!
